Over 5GWh, Haichen/China Automotive New Energy and three other companies signed multiple energy storage orders

TrendForce Solar Storage Observation has learned that several energy storage companies have recently signed orders for energy storage systems. Haichen Energy Storage and BOS Power signed a 3GWh energy storage project in Northern Europe, China Automotive New Energy signed a 2GWh energy storage contract in Tianjin, and Tianneng Energy secured cooperation orders with multiple companies at the China-Brazil Investment Summit.

Haichen Energy Storage Signs Cooperation Agreement for 3GWh Energy Storage System Projects

On September 5th, Haichen Energy Storage and BOS Power signed a cooperation agreement. The two parties plan to deploy energy storage system projects totaling 3GWh in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway by 2027.



Construction of the first project has already begun in Denmark, marking Haichen Energy Storage's official entry into the Nordic energy storage market.

The agreement covers a range of power storage projects with unit capacities of 30MWh and above. Haichen Energy Storage will provide advanced DC-side energy storage systems, including the ∞Power 6.25MWh 2/4h energy storage system and the ∞Block 5MWh energy storage system.

In addition, Haichen Energy Storage will provide technical training to BOS Power and authorize it to become a certified service provider, thereby providing localized support to end customers and improving operational efficiency.



China Auto New Energy Signs 2GWh Energy Storage Project Contract

On September 2nd, China Auto New Energy, POSCO International, and FAW Import & Export Corporation held a signing ceremony in Tianjin for the procurement of energy storage system products, officially signing the 2GWh energy storage project contract.



According to the agreement, the three parties plan to further expand their cooperation in 2026 and explore more business opportunities in energy storage and related new energy fields.

According to information, China Auto New Energy, renamed from Qingdao Lishen in July this year, is a key project of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to promote the professional integration of central enterprises. Its main business covers the research and development, production, and sales of power batteries and energy storage battery systems. Its products cover multiple scenarios, including power generation, grid, and user-side. Its energy storage products have been applied in overseas markets such as North America and Central Africa.

In terms of production capacity, China Auto New Energy currently has a total planned capacity of 97.5GWh, of which 32GWh has been built, covering four bases in Tianjin, Qingdao, Chuzhou, and Wuxi. Currently, the first phase of the Chuzhou base has put into operation 10GWh of energy storage battery production capacity.



Tianneng Signs Cooperation Contracts with Multiple Pakistani Companies

At the Second China-Pakistan B2B Investment Summit, Tianneng signed strategic cooperation memoranda (MOUs) with several Pakistani companies and concluded several contract agreements.



The agreements primarily focused on power batteries, energy storage systems, and clean energy applications, encompassing product supply, technical exchange, and project collaboration.
